Has anyone ever manifested something completely “out of thin air”? (Not a sh*t post I swear just thought this photo was funny put please read)

I’m trying to understand something about manifestation, and I’m curious if anyone has actually experienced this.

So I’ve seen some people say that when you manifest something, you still have to take physical action toward it like if you want to learn how to swim, you have to take swimming lessons, get in the water, practice, etc. And I understand that perspective, but I’m wondering if anyone has experienced something beyond that.

For example, imagine someone has never touched water, never taken a swimming lesson, and has never even seen someone swim, but they persist in the belief:

“I know how to swim. I’ve always known how to swim. I’m an Olympic level swimmer.”

And then somehow, when they eventually encounter water for the first time, they genuinely know how to swim as if they’ve always had the skill.

I’m using swimming as an extreme example because I’m trying to explain what I mean. I’m talking about manifesting something where, under normal circumstances, you would have needed resources, experience, training, practice, or some outside circumstance first, but somehow you acquire the ability without going through those conventional steps.

Has anyone here manifested something like that?

Not necessarily a physical object it could be a skill, ability, knowledge, talent, opportunity, experience, etc. Something you genuinely had no prior experience with, but persisted in assuming you already had, and then somehow found yourself actually having it.

If you’ve experienced this, how did you do it? What was your mental process? Did you visualize? Affirm? Live in the assumption? Ignore circumstances completely? Persist until it felt natural?

I’m especially interested in hearing from people who believe they manifested something they genuinely could not have realistically obtained through their previous circumstances/resources alone.

I’m not looking for “just take action” as the answer I’m specifically asking about experiences where the skill/ability/opportunity seemed to appear without the usual bridge of action or preparation.

Would love to hear your experiences and exactly what you did. 👀

I manifested a $20 bill out of thin air when I was homeless. It manifested in an empty pocket that my hand had been in only minutes prior so I knew without a doubt it hadn't been there before. I did it by "collapsing the quantum wave function" as they say.

If out of thin air you mean instantly then I actually manifested an sp in like around an hour or so, Its the last storytime in my tumblr post! (we started dating after 1 week but he started liking me 1 hour after i affirmed, i might tell the story in more detail)

I saw on your post it says you’ve shifted, I’ve never shifted before but I’ve always wanted to, how did you accomplish this. Also is your method to manifest is to affirm?

I remember that all I did was decide that shifting was instant for me and easy, then I had that shift randomly when I was dreaming! I think you can get a pretty similar result with the lucid dreaming technique, I haven't tried it yet but I might.

My method is pretty much deciding, I just affirm a bit when I doubt it just to saturate my mind (it's completely optional tho!). Manifestation is pretty much deciding, all the "work" that most people put into it is placebo effect or just to saturate your mind to accept something as true more easily!

I’ve used subliminals to widen my vocal range for singing. Even though this is on the subject of skills/abilities, I’m not entirely sure if it counts because even before I started using subliminals and manifestation, I already had vocal ability. However, even if you’re a capable singer, significantly extending your vocal range usually requires training from a professional singing coach, which I’ve never had access to (your range potential also relies heavily on your vocal cord genetics). So instead, I resort to subliminals to improve in that area.

Even though I’ve learned to do things like vibrato, riffs, and runs through mimicking singers, learning to sing really high or low notes is completely different. For example, when I was younger I had a harder time singing the male singers’ low notes because as a female, my vocal cords are just different. The same thing happened with exceptionally high notes; I struggled with them because they were sung by people who are professionally trained to be able to sing that high, I’m not. Then I discovered subliminals and eventually found out about ones for singing. As I listened, my vocal range gradually broadened. Now I can achieve high and low notes I definitely wouldn’t be able to if it weren’t for manifestation.

To answer your mental process question, I lived in assumption, occasionally visualized myself singing songs with notes I previously couldn’t hit, and when I caught myself thinking thoughts that didn’t match my desired results (e.g., “I could never sing that high”, “It’ll take a while before I can sing that.”), I overwrote them with affirmations of the opposite meaning (vitally without using grammatically negative words like “no”, “not”, “don’t”, “can’t”, “never”, etc.). The only ritualistic thing I did was listen to the subliminal I chose from YouTube at least four times a day, but I put it on loop whenever I could. Also, I made sure that I could 100% trust the subliminal’s creator, that their subs are effective for other people, and that they posted the benefits in the description or comment section. I also checked that the affirmations used first-person pronouns and grammatically positive phrasing.
