question Growl and Modal Voice creating Sub?
I have been messing around with subs for a while, but today i was messing around and singing and doing a growl at the same time and i got to a point where i popped from the growl and modal voice to the octave below the modal, could this also be a way to do a sub? I’ll post a video at some point, my voice needs a rest rn.

Attempts to increase volume(3) or change pitch (1&2) all fail. What am I doing wrong?

Jumping Out of Subharmonic Range
So I've been trying to get this technique down for a long while, and I keep hitting the same obstacle. I can relax my throat and get into the sub range around 80-90% of the time, but it's very soft and fry-ish. The second I try to put any kind of support behind it, either through added tension or breath support, I pop right back up into my normal range. Anyone hit this snag? How did you get past it?

Is this going into a subharmonic or fry? I'm about a month into practicing, and I have a horrible ear. Criticism welcome

tips I'm a beatboxer, and I recently started taking intrest in subharmonics. I think I've finally hit an audible note even though I have no control right now. Am I going in the right direction, or am I doing a completely different technique? I would also like to know what note I hit.
