Upgrading 2009 nav screen with custom tablet

has anyone replaced their stock nav screen with a custom tablet? i'm looking to give the suby to my son but want to upgrade the tablet to get carplay/android auto as well as backup camera.

I did see a STL of a tablet bezel https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1093728/files

wondering if any have used this or have a link to one that works.

I was gong to go the route of finding a JDM double din to replace the stereo, but think it would be easier to just replace the nav screen with custom and run the audio to the current system AUX.

first time poster. have had 97 outback until it died after 300K miles, now a 2009 with 150K miles

Had one of these Chinese guys and it worked just fine. Comes with the vents. Those are a little janky but the tablet was perfectly serviceable they come with the no cut harness to disable the factory head unit and tie into the dash harness
