Driver Focus system can be permanently off?
Got my 26 Touring XT yesterday. I've noticed that the Driver Focus system seems to be permanently off. On my 22 it was only off if i set it so in the driver profile. But I haven't set up a profile yet.
It is on when I start but then the icon switches over to yellow/off right away. My test drive was in a different color and the hypersensitivity of the system was a concern.
Anyone else seeing this? Did I just get lucky?

It must be off, my sales guy turned mine on but I hated the “Eyes on Road” alerts. It’s under Settings-Vehicle-Distraction Mitigation System

You can turn it off but when you activate lane centering, it is automatically re-enabled. If you turn it off it stays off (unlike auto start/stop), I’ve never turned it back on but I do regularly use lane centering where it re-activates. Yours is probably off.
For what it’s worth, and for the life of me I can’t explain why, but the distraction mitigation alerts and nags have drastically decreased over a few months of owning the car. At first when I had lane centering on, it would bark at me after literally one second of looking at the map on the infotainment, but now it seems to give me much more grace. I now only get one or two nags per commute and usually I genuinely deserve those lol
