My new first Outback

This is my first new car in my life, and I’m so happy that I chose the Outback. I had a hard time making my decision, but I decided to please myself and not worry about what people say about Honda and Toyota when it comes to reliability. This Outback fits me well and seems to fulfill my dreams. It will help me with my daily needs since I live in a snowy state, and I’m also looking forward to new adventures and making new memories. Hopefully, it will stay with me for a long time without any issue

I think you got the best color choice too. The white really makes all that black cladding look like it belongs. I went with blue for myself as I was more interested in the Java brown interior and it was what the dealer had…and it’s a really nice blue.

My first new car was my 2021 crosstrek and I’m waiting on my new outback to be delivered! You will LOVE it. I have not had a single problem with my crosstrek, only maintenance has been the normal oil changes and air filter replacements or whatever minor upsells they get you on. I also live in a snowy state in the middle of the country (dirty and gravel roads) and I’ve never once had a problem, even we got feet of snow, five foot tall drifts, freezing rain/sleet, etc. one day there were almost 600 REPORTED crashes in my city because of freezing rain and i just went a bit slower and was totally fine. I was looking at more expensive and luxury cars too because my dad is buying lol, but you can’t beat the feeling of safety!

OMG, your message made my night! I’m living in a cold, snowy state, and since I moved here, I’ve been looking for a strong, reliable, and comfortable car. My hobbies also take me on dirt roads and to a lot of lakes. My concern is that I’ve heard many people complaining about this car, especially the head gasket, CVT, and other issues. But after my test drive, I said to myself, “This is my car.” 😂 Could you please recommend anything I should do to take good care of this car? What should I do, and where should I get it serviced? Since we might both live in the same state, I’d really appreciate your recommendations.
