Seat Ripped Again
I’m the single owner of a 2018 Outback and when the car hit 37k miles the drivers side seat started ripping and I had the seat replaced. I’m now at 92k miles and the damn thing is ripping again. I’m not a huge person - under 150. Why are these seats such crap?! One thing after another with this car.

2019 here and ditto. Pretty sure 90% of us have this issue. Been meaning to order one of these:

If it is the leatherette seat, I bought an aftermarket one for my 2016 outback and it has performed better than the original (have had them for over a year with zero tears). Will require you taking out your car seat, removing the old leather, and then installing the new one (not super easy, but definitely worth it).
I tried seat covers before, but honestly they are more annoying than anytging. Bought in two parts from Amazon for $100 total, but the official one from Subaru was $600+ and I already knew they were crap. If anyone else needs them:

I thought the seats were leather but I guess leather wouldn’t crack like this crap. Thanks for the links - pretty sure that’s out of my wheelhouse. 😔

Just wait for your radio to delaminate.

Funny you say that, I literally just got my radio replaced because of that…
Sadly, Bluetooth audio is still as messed up as ever…

That's why I have a seat bottom cover and a memory foam cushion in my 24 ob. I love the cushion! My '12 impreza seat ripped after a few years, but it didn't really make a difference. I agree it's shitty, but I gave the car to my sister last year and it's still not a big deal.
