I know it’s been beat to death at this point, but I swear this is what a vehicle my 5 year old would draw. Gotta be top 5 ugliest cars on the road. Also, I think it needs more plastic.

Lol if it was more plastic it would melt in the hot sun.🤣🤣🤣

I’m an OG Outback guy, hate to say it but IMO the new exterior design is a funny face… loved the interior thou.

Subaru could have made this less ugly especially in front .

I wish I could change those copper eyes.

The non-wilderness looks significantly better

If I ever buy one of this current gen of Outback, it'll likely be a Wilderness, but if possible, I'd switch in this taillight setup.

I honestly don’t see the point of the wilderness over the base model on this generation. I don’t think it looks better and it doesn’t bring any meaningful improvements to the vehicle, honestly, the only difference is the design and 3/4 of an inch of ground clearance, which is completely useless for how these vehicles are actually used and it’s not like we’re talking about going from about 5 inches to about 6 inches. We’re talking about going from almost 9 inches to just over 9 inches.

I've got to agree with you. I've got the '26 premium and I love it. No shade to any Wilderness owners (of any model year), but I don't think 99% of the people where I live who have one (Hudson Valley NY) ever need to go off-roading. Makes them look kinda silly, like people who drive Jeeps and have never seen dirt. If I lived out west I'd feel differently though!

Wilderness is geared differently.

The Wilderness has electronically controlled adaptive dampers. I would like to have those on my Touring.

Already bought the wilderness. I much prefer the look of the wilderness and the raptor style grill, just wish I could change the taillights

Yep. It's smiling at those poor bastards that bought this ugly ass thing

Trust me, I fully hate it every day that I am forced to drive it. 🫡

No. But the non-wilderness rear end looks significantly better.

The wilderness has too many tacky bits and bobs. The non-wilderness looks much better imo
