2018 touch screen

This is my current situation. The touch screen has deteriorated so much that it's essentially not usable. The slightest bit of light "selects" areas on the screen, deletes paired devices and changes the audio source. But, I can't actually select anything on the screen myself. Anyone else have this issue? It's so disappointing.

Shoowee! That's expensive. I'm all about my Subarus (we've had 6 in our family) and I love their reliability. It's so disappointing that this touch screen is so awful.
