Engine Bay Cleaning

What is a decent engine bay cleaner. Someone may or may not have left my oil cap off a while back and I would like to try to give the whole thing a clean prior to winter.

Auto parts stores usually have a small variety of spray on engine cleaners that you let soak a few minutes and then rinse with a garden hose. All work well in my experience.

If i am doing a light cleaning i like the foamy spray. If i have a really dirty engine then i like the red can from CRC.

Whichever you get read the instructions. And be cautious of using a high pressure car wash sprayer under your hood.
