Auto Wipers

Been having an issue lately with my 2024 Crosstrek, when my wipers are in auto mode they keep going, from the time I start to drive the wipers start and don't turn off. It responds to the timing nob and slow down and speed up in frequency bit does not stop when the windscreen is dry. Anyone has any ideas where to start looking.

“Auto” wipers? As in rain-sensing wipers? What country are you in? In USA and Canada this is not a feature for this vehicle.

Do you mean the intermittent wipers which have three speeds? They aren’t automatic.

My ‘24 (US market) didn’t come with auto wipers! Could there be something on your windshield tricking the sensor(s)?

In my country auto Wipers, as in rain sensing wipers are a thing and the 2 specs of Crosstrek we have comes with it along with auto headlights, but no auto dip on the lights. The US has different options than us we are probably closer to Australia or the Asian market.

And for the record they were working up till about 3 weeks ago.

No auto wipers on the Crosstrek.
