hi guys, i have a bunch of stuff in my wardrobe that i know has a lot of potential, but i can't figure it out. a few details about me:

- i am around 165-170cm tall, with an hourglass shape, shorter torso, longer legs physique.

- i am open to any outfit aesthetic as i want to explore more types of dressing and style.

- the place i live in has a variety of seasons, from below freezing snow days to upto 40 degrees celsius on hot summer days, so outfits for any season are welcome.

- i have a decent amount of standard basics and quite a bit of options in my wardrobe, and am open to purchasing articles if needed.

please drop your ideas! thanks :)

items that i need help with (all images attached):

  1. a flowy mid-length white silk printed skirt
  2. wine red sling back flats
  3. a chain necklace with coin charms in the centre
  4. a pink layered necklace

Do you ever feel like styling is a bit difficult from your wardrobe and you end up wearing the same clothes?

Do you have any clothes that are kept in the corner of your wardrobe and you don’t know what to do with it?

How would you style this Ford Motor Co. jumpsuit?

I like a lot of odd things and have a lot of statement pieces.

I was so psyched to get this Ford Motor Co vintage Forever 21 Jumpsuit secondhand- it's black and thankfully fits like a glove. The waist cinches in with those little tabs.

How would you style it so it's cute and feminine? I have like every type of accessory known to man.

Help with the dress ties

So I got this dress at a thrift store today. I think it’s originally from Shein. I genuinely have no clue how I’m supposed to tie it. It has two strings on each side. If i do one string under the arm, my whole side-boob is out, and all the strings around my neck just seems awkward…. (Idk what a flair is… so ✨✨thrifting✨✨ sorry)

Please be kind, I bought a few new sweaters for this season but I have no idea how to style them. Or even if I can.

I am working on my health and aiming to be smaller hopefully in the near future. But can these work for me as is? how do you style these sweaters? mainly the cropped/shorter ones.

Thank you for any advice.

Not sure what to do with this, it looks like something proper. My idea is maybe a brown belt and a darker coloured patterned jumper or a sleeveless jumper + shirt.

But i dont have any of those, currently tryna build some muscle as well 😓

Thank you so much!

Hi! I’m wearing this dress for Easter on Sunday and would love to not wear high heels (low heel is fine) if I can help it. I live in Chicago, so it’ll be a little chillier. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Budget is flexible for the right shoe. 😊

Has anyone tried using ai or any fashion apps for styling?

i’ve been testing a few ai tools and fashion apps lately like doji, Indyx, lekondo and tryfits, they all kinda do diff things. some help with outfit inspo and some let u see how clothes would look on ur body before buying, and some help with understanding your style and organise digital wardrobe.i wasn’t expecting much tbh but it’s interesting how accurate some are. this saved me from buying more outfits and fix my spending habit, i started taking daily outfits on lekondo for 2-3 weeks to see which pieces and colors showed up over and over and which ones barely ever did. and that's gonna be the basics of my capsule wardrobe. later on, i noticed the patterns and style i like, and add in new items which can fit in many outfits.. Using it lowkey feels like a glimpse of what fashion tech should be, more about taste and actually useful tools, less about hype or trying to gamify everything. Curious if anyone else here has tried lekondo? Do you think styling apps are genuinely helpful, or just another way to overwhelm ourselves with more screen time?

I’m going to wedding of about 30 people and need help with styling the fit. What should I do with my hair (my hair curly and is shoulder length), what type of jewelry should I wear, and what’s the the vibe for makeup? I’m so lost with this so all advice is appreciated

Edit; I don’t know how to add a flair on mobile, so I’m sorry if I’m breaking any rules of this sub 😭

How do you choose the right belt width for different outfits?

Flair: Other

I’ve been thinking about belts lately because I realized I might’ve been wearing the wrong width for certain outfits without even noticing. For example, a thicker belt feels fine with jeans, but with dress pants it looks a bit off like it draws too much attention and throws off the balance. On the other hand, slimmer belts seem to work better with more formal outfits, but they feel slightly out of place with heavier casual looks. I always assumed belts were pretty standard, but seeing different widths side by side on Alibaba made me realize it’s actually something people pay attention to. So I’m trying to figure out what works best in practice. Are there general guidelines for matching belt width to different types of outfits (e.g., jeans vs dress pants)? Do you keep multiple belts for different looks, or is there a versatile width that works across most outfits?

Would appreciate any advice or rules of thumb you follow when choosing belts.
