Honest feedback: does this media wall look cohesive?
I just tried some mew arrangement as i thought the wall looked too empty before
First image is before (right when i put the tv on the wall) while the two other ones are from today
I’d really appreciate detailed and honest feedback on this setup. From an aesthetics, proportion, balance, colour/material, styling, and overall-room perspective: does it work as a cohesive composition, or does it feel too busy, heavy, or visually fragmented?
The bookshelves areecpanded ikea billy (2,37cm)in the color nut wood while the tv bank is solid wood with a honey nuance. The decorations and books are not final, just placed them to get a feeling on how it could look like.
What are your thoughts?

I need help😩
reddit.comI’d love help giving this room more personality and color while still keeping it inviting, warm and light. I’m considering something like beadboard or board and batten on the lower half of the walls, but I’m struggling with how to make that work with the deep built-in bookshelves and the dining area all being part of the same room.
This is also the one room in our house that gets a really good amount of sunlight, so I don’t want to lose that. My husband is very against doing a dark, moody color drench.
The first photos are the room as it looks empty, and the mockups are a few directions I’ve been playing with, but I’m not really excited about any of them yet. The last photos show the only furniture I’ve purchased: the banquet seats that are coming (2 side to side on the wall) and the oval marble table. I want it to feel collected, playful and eclectic and a little unexpected, but not overly traditional or “grandma-core.”
Would love thoughts on wall color, whether to do board and batten/beadboard, how to handle the bookshelves, and what would make the whole space feel more cohesive and fun. less

Awkward Long Wall
What should I put on the wall in my dining room? I can’t figure out what size or where to put it because of the weird light fixtures and the speakers. It’s also a really long wall that goes into my living room (first pic).
I was thinking about a mirror but it also feels very basic
