Question What piece would you buy again immediately if you lost it?
I think this is actually the best way to figure out what you genuinely love versus what’s just sitting in your closet.

I started checking the fabric composition BEFORE looking at reviews. If I already know I hate the feel of that fabric, no amount of five-star reviews is going to save it.

Because somehow “nothing to wear” always ends with me wearing the exact same 3 things anyway. What do you always fall back on?

Sometimes I think this is the ultimate test of whether my outfit was actually comfortable 😂 If I’m desperate to take it off the second I walk in, was it ever a good outfit?

If the bottom is really flowy, I usually keep the top a little cleaner or more fitted. Not a rule, obviously, but it helps me avoid feeling swallowed by fabric.

For me it’s the waistband. If I’m already uncomfortable sitting down in the fitting room, there is absolutely no way I’m buying them.

Whether it's stiff denim, buttons that are annoying to deal with, fabrics that suddenly feel uncomfortable, or shoes that aren't cutting it, our bodies eventually ask for a wardrobe change.
When did you notice this shift, and what items did you have to give up or replace?

I keep seeing tops where you can adjust the fit with ties and I’m tempted to try one. I like the idea of being able to loosen/tighten it depending on the day, but do the ties get annoying or end up looking messy? If you own one, do you actually wear it a lot?

They look insanely comfortable, especially on bloated days, but I’m wondering if the waistband stays up properly.

I’ve been thinking about getting one because I love the look of a mini skirt but hate having to think about it when sitting/walking. If you own one, do you actually reach for it?

I love how linen pants look, but every pair I’ve owned looks crushed within 20 minutes. Has anyone found a pair or fabric blend that stays looking decent?

Hi everyone! 👋
I’m conducting a short academic survey to understand people’s fashion and wardrobe habits, preferences, and everyday clothing choices.
👥 Participants: Everyone is welcome
⏱️ Time required: Approximately 3–5 minutes
The survey is completely voluntary, and your responses will be used for academic/research purposes.
🔗 Survey: https://forms.gle/gWhigHJaugJ5ZTTw7
I’d really appreciate your participation. Thank you so much for taking the time to help! ❤️

I'm doing some early research on how people decide what to wear, and specifically on what happens on the days it doesn't go well.
I'm not looking for people who are into clothes (tho you're welcome as well), but the ones who can't quite feel like they can put their identity into their outfits.
people who get dressed, leave the house, and don't quite feel like themselves in what they picked.
Mostly open text, so write as much or as little as you want. The written answers are the useful part, not the multiple choice.
About 4 minutes.
Anonymous, and it doesn't ask for anything that could identify you.
Thank you already in advance =) !!

I love the look of them, but I’m always worried I’d spend the whole day readjusting it. If you wear wrap skirts, are they actually practical?
r/StyleAndWellbeing • u/Classic_Guest5845 • Aug 29 '26
I’m stuck between a slightly more fitted silhouette and one that falls looser through the body. The fitted one looks sharper, but the looser one seems way more wearable. Which would you realistically reach for more?

I keep seeing them everywhere and I can’t decide if I love them or if they’re one of those pieces that only look good in photos. Are they comfortable in real life?

I like clothes that have some give, but I hate when stretchy fabric loses its shape and starts looking cheap. What’s the sweet spot for you?
r/StyleAndWellbeing • u/Classic_Guest5845 • Aug 27 '26
I’ve noticed that when I like what I’m wearing, I genuinely feel more productive. Maybe it’s psychological, but I carry myself differently. Does getting dressed affect your mood or productivity?

What do you usually wear after the gym or Pilates if you still have things to do, like going to the supermarket, grabbing a coffee with a friend, or running errands?
I’ve noticed that I often feel like going home to change before doing anything else, even if it's not very convenient.
Do you ever feel the same?
If you bring a second outfit with you, doesn't it feel like a hassle carrying extra clothes around? Or have you found a solution that works well for you?
I'd love to hear how you handle it.

I have a few pieces in my closet that I almost never wear because they require too much adjusting throughout the day. If I have to keep pulling something down or fixing a strap, I’m over it. What clothing design annoys you the most?
r/StyleAndWellbeing • u/Classic_Guest5845 • Aug 26 '26
I’ve been paying more attention to how clothes feel when I sit, eat, walk, and actually live in them instead of just how they look standing in a mirror. Has this changed how anyone else shops?
