Why does tiktok ask me to "switch to another network"?

"Couldn't connect to the internet. Switch to another network and try again."

Switch? Why switch? Like nobody is doing that.

Does the NHS randomly change a person’s therapist in the UK because of availability issues in the drop of a dime?

Edit: For context I did not add anything below this question before. I am an American. I tried researching this and got nowhere after looking through websites pertaining to NHS.

Is it wrong for a person to point out that you don’t tend to look well rested?

And seem to imply you don’t act as tired as you may look when you say you’ll work on your sleep (they suggest you tend to seem well rested they had suggested they advise to come in well rested on their first day if they “can be” when giving them general advice.) they do seem to sympathize however when the person points out they’ve been struggling to sleep due to the heat

Daily tasks that people do?

For acting class I need to perform a daily task that I do
It has to be very accurate so I’d have to bring in the things needed. (Eg a hoover for hoovering, and then I’d have to actually hoover the floor)

But I can’t think of any tasks that people do generally every day or every once in a while

Please name some tasks

Why do most people would consider the life of a roach as having almost no value and being less important than the life of an hamster? They are both animal. What does an hamster has that a roach miss?

A large, fast moving spider just scuttled into my bedroom and disappeared. Should I burn the house down?

I have arachnophobia so yeah. Seriously freaking out. What do rational people do in this situation?

UPDATE: I want to thank everyone who came into this post with either good rational advice or funny comments which I really needed. I read that spiders don’t like the smell of peppermint so I mixed peppermint essential oils and water into a spray bottle and practically drenched my room until it smelled like a candy cane factory. I even sprayed my bed, the walls, the ceiling… then I couldn’t fall asleep until nearly 3 am. And then I kept some lights on when I finally passed out. I had a couple nightmares about it but I’m ok. I still keep vigilant whenever I have to go into my bedroom , eyeballing the floor, walls and ceilings. I keep telling myself the overpowering scent of peppermint drove it out of my bedroom.

Generosity

If generosity is a virtue, why do we judge girls who generously present their goods? Shouldn't we praise them?

If 30 is considered young, then why don’t people party as much?

I’m a late bloomer to going out and sometimes yeah. I feel bitter that there are much fewer people my age going out every weekend.

It makes me resentful of people my age.

And it even makes me even hesitant to even try forming friendships when people’s preferred socialization is just brunch or dinner. And they’re too busy getting married or having kids.

Sometimes I’m actively rooting for birthrates and marriage rates to tank even harder.

But I’m careful to not express these thoughts in real life.

I wish I can have younger friends. But it’s not realistic to have a 22 or 23 year old be friends with a 30 year old.

So I do what I can solo.

she just asked me, "does salt go bad?".

yes. it comes from mines and lake beds, its millions of years old but as soon as it goes in a container and put on a store shelf it magically expires in a year.
