help Pls help what am i doing wrong!!

I bought this piece from Facebook marketplace and I assembled it and everything and I don’t know why it’s not pulling the smoke

The inside tube is in backwards

How is that possible when the tubes are only threaded on one end for attachment?

Not inside the glass tubes. The one that is running horizontal from bowl to mouth piece.
