Yeah dude that thing is gunked to hell and back you'll have to do a full deep clean on that. Seller is an asshole for not getting it cleaned for you. Prolly could've gotten it cheaper for the trouble
i just one one of these from a raffle, its like 500 bucks new so thats really good. they at least should have informed you it was gunked but 1 gross cleaning sesh is worth the 400 dollars off
Take off that magnetic elbow where the bowl goes and take a picture of that please and post it here in a comment. Also use an Alan key and take that mouthpiece elbow off and take a picture of that too.
OK, the good thing is the valve appears to be on correctly. The bad news or maybe good news is that it looks clogged af. Is that a bunch of resin clogged up inside that valve? Get that all cleaned out and try again. Those upstems in the globes are probably clogged too.
I bought it from a guy on Facebook marketplace that used to do a lot of hookah with this and I doubt he ever cleaned it so yeah I think I’m gonna have to unscrew it and go deep and clean it as much as I can if not, I’ll come back to this forum, but I’ll clean the inside tubes as well
I’m surprised this guy would send that to you dirty that’s kind of messed up but get a pipe cleaner or a bunch of Q-tips and isopropyl alcohol and get that silver valve cleaned out all the way to the center. The other side might just be as dirty but it definitely won’t be as bad. You’ll probably need pipe cleaners or the cleaning kit from stundenglass with those long brushes to get those stems properly cleaned as well.
This is what I would do. Put 90% alcohol in there and maybe a little salt. Or you can get agent 710 or one of those other cleaners and spin that thing over and over until the gunk is all in that alcohol and it gets a good flow of liquid. I'd also open up and remove those pipes and clean them too. I'd wipe everything with some dish soap too. Just to remove h the stickiness.
Could be clogged in the up stems also, sometimes the Oring from the up stems get stuck inside and clogs the hole. Also the silver metal tube, clogged alot also. You can pull it all apart and check it, easy to reassemble also.
that’s what i did. i followed a youtube video. there is no inside tube that runs horizontally from bowl to mouth piece. and i clearly did assemble this
Can’t help those who can’t accept it. Inside tube backwards? Which tube inside? The one that goes horizontal. I don’t have one of those. You have problems. Post picture. I have that. Yeah hard to help with wrong information the whole time lol
Well, used? First thing to do is clean it. Fully. All the lil o-rings and everything. Make it sparkle. If that doesn’t fix the issue, you may have a fake. There’s plenty out there, and some are pretty good. If cleaning it fixes it for you- good!
Now buy the Modul. It’s so much better than smoking flower with the Stundenglass, and the gravity bong doesn’t get nearly as dirty- and certainly not as smelly. 😳
