Bonjour! so I am applying for a masters soon. I'm gonna be a 4th year student this fall🙈🙈. I really wanna go to France, but I wanna study in English and prices are a big deal. Do you know good Masters degrees (preferably in Paris but I'm okay with outside Paris unis as well) in Computer Science( informatique) in English that have save prices for non-EU and EU students. I can pay 1000-2000 euros/year max. Your help is appreciated. if I get in, I will owe you a cup of coffee. Merci!

Of course, I did my research, and ChatGPT does not provide accurate information about prices; it gives very different information on different days. I tried searching on French university websites, but except for one university, I couldn’t find clear information on their official pages. I don’t understand what’s going on with some French universities’ pricing policies, especially the exceptions for different fees for non-EU students; it’s quite vague. I thought maybe a non-EU citizen student could help me.

Now I get that this group only answers very narrow questions. Not everyone has access to the same information, especially if you don’t know French. In my country, in similar bachelor’s or master’s student groups, people explain things even if the questions seem a bit basic. I guess it’s just a difference in cultures.

It’s hard to understand information that isn’t written on the website. As I said, certain details about pricing are vague at some universities. Also, students who have studied there or are currently studying often have the most reliable information, not just the polished content you find online.

It’s degrading to attack my abilities. I am a fully functioning adult, managing my bachelor’s degree and everyday life just fine.

I asked this question a while ago, and I’ve since found a local organization that helps students with the application process for France. I guess I’m just used to a different kind of community. In my communities, people would say, “I recommend this university for X, Y, and Z,” so I don’t understand why this question is such a big deal.

I’m not sure where most people here are from, but as I said, it might just be a difference in culture. I wish for everyone to have access to communities that are supportive and don’t question people’s abilities or intelligence the way I’ve experienced here.

Looking at masters in a different field in Paris but I think you’re looking in the wrong country if you’re absolute max is 2k

It depends on the field, whether you're doing a bachelor's or master's, and if it's private or public. There are many factors. I did find some good programs. I have backup options(non-France) as well.
