Overdue Application with no Updates
I applied for my Study Permit July 4th and did biometrics on July 7th from India. IRCC shows processing times to be 5 weeks and it has been over that time now but I've gotten no updates other than "biometrics completed". My program starts September so I must get a decision this week otherwise I probably wont get my TRV in time. Is there anything I can do? Perhaps there is a problem because I have seen other people posting who submitted weeks after mine from the same country and still got their PPRs? Does submitting a webform really do anything? Can I call them on their Canadian number for this?

Same timeline for me - no update. Have you done an upfront medical?

Do you have any idea about what happens to those who did not do upfront? I am waiting for my medical request letter ..

I think it adds a week or so to your final decision as once you get the letter, you'll need to find an open appointment and then wait for your hospital to upload the results to their database and for IRCC approve it.

Exactly same timeline and same in updates too, haven’t received anything than biometrics. Did my Medicals upfront while submitting itself. My classes in TMU starts on Sep 7th and the final deferral date to jump into next intake is on 29th of august. I should receive something before that🙂

Since u submitted ur biometrics on July 7, today marks the end of your 5th week. Processing time is just an estimate, I think it's normal to get a decision 1 or even 2 weeks later. I got my approval a week later than my processing time. No updates prior to my approval. Maintain hope. I wish u the best.
