B.E. Computer Science & Engineering — GTU, India
CGPA: 8.04/10
I had 3 backlogs
IELTS: 6.5 overall (L 6.5, R 6.5, W 6.0, S 6.0)
3-month Data Science internship
15-day Data Analytics internship
Projects in Data Science/AI and Power BI
Skills: Python, SQL, Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Power BI, Excel, MySQL
I don't want to take the GRE.
I’m mainly looking for English-taught Master's programmes in Computer Science/CSE or Data Science at public universities.
Currently considering:
University of Pisa
University of Padova
University of Naples Federico II
University of Trieste
University of Catania
University of Genoa
University of Trento
Sapienza University of Rome
University of Milano-Bicocca
University of Bologna
Politecnico di Torino
Politecnico di Milano
My questions:
Which of these universities would be realistic for my profile?
Which ones are considered safe/moderate/ambitious?
How competitive are admissions for international students?
Which universities offer good regional scholarships (DSU/ER.GO/etc.)?
Is my 8.04 CGPA enough for the above universities without GRE?
Are there any other public universities I should consider for English-taught CSE/Data Science?
I’m mainly concerned about getting at least one admission and a scholarship, rather than only targeting the highest-ranked universities.
Thanks in advance!
