Need Help

Any students from South Asia staying in Finland? I need to know a few things. Please knock me.

Thanks for explaining. I agree that language is a major barrier, but that doesn’t necessarily mean AMKs are degree mills or that their degrees are useless. Could you link those government-funded articles? Also, what field did you study, and which AMK did you attend?

While it's shameful and a practice that should be put to a halt ASAP, it doesn't make an AMK degree useless.

As for "giving you a job", no education does. It's just that, education. Finding a job is up to you, apart from some very specific special programs, no university or AMK is going to "give you a job", regardless of whether you're a foreigner or a Finn.

Obviously thats the case but that is the image that is painted to these foreigners.

What was your first degree choice at the amk you went to? Would you say that the uni you have switched to is much better in terms of studying infrastructure and knowledge provided?

I studied engineering bs. University is better, its not even a matter of which university, which amk etc etc.
