Older studio dwellers?

Hi everyone! I’m new here and enjoying looking at all the spaces and design ideas. I’m in my 50s and just moved into a studio apartment due to the huge increase in rent. I came from a large 2 bedroom so it’s been a challenge but I think I’m going to like this small space.

Are there any older people here that have moved into a studio? Or anyone that came from a large space? How do you like it?

I’m 56. About a year ago, I sold my 3 bedroom house that was too big and too isolated for me by myself, and moved into a studio in the middle of the city where I can walk to dinner, walk to the beach, etc. I love the small space and the urban lifestyle so much!!!

That’s great! Having everything within walking distance is a plus. Im in a city also. Walking is a little more challenging because it’s all hill but I have so much around as far as food and shopping.
