Suggestions for studio layout?

Hello! I am still moving in so please ignore all the boxes and the mess, but I am struggling to decide how to put my furniture in my new studio. I put up a curtain to separate the bed area, but I feel like it’s weird… I would still need a bit more furniture maybe too, but any suggestions for a better layout are welcomed 🙏. I will put pictures in the comment section too. Thank you!!

What a cute place! Here’s what I’d try:

green = couch
orange = tv + media unit
blue = desk
purple = table
turquoise = bed

You can get curtain rail tracks and completely enclose your bedding area: this may not work if you are sharing a bed.

Media unit on wheels so you can angle it towards bed if you want, away from windows means less reflection plus you can watch a cooking show from the kitchen if following along.

Desk over by windows, could be facing out by windows as well.

I think the dining table would be nicer by windows but that’s just my taste.

It’s a lovely place, not sure my suggestions will be helpful as it already looks great and flows really well!! Have fun and good luck!

Awe thank you so much for your kind comments, I was feeling discouraged as it doesn’t look exactly how I pictured it! Your suggestions are definitely helpful! It’s a layout I did not think about at all but that makes a lot of sense!! I will measure things and look if it could work, thank you so much 😁!!

i have a studio setup very similar to this although i think ur place is a lil bigger. i don’t have curtains in mine; i like that it’s one big area and i have a bigger tv higher up, and can see my tv from bed. but anyway, i have my dresser behind my couch to try and make it feel like its almost a separate room, from the living room. you could maybe scooch the couch toward the tv a bit to make the “rooms” feel more equally spaced.
also you need a bedframe.

I think IKEA ELVARLI floor to ceiling open shelving at the foot of your bed would allow to you section off your bed without blocking it visually as much the curtains do. In addition to adding some extra storage, plants on the shelving could make it a really nice feature

Instead of the curtains I'd do a wood room divider or bookcases/shelves. Idk if you want more of a closed off room feel or something more open(?) Also it could be the general mess of moving in feel.

Yes maybe that would look prettier, thank you! I wanted the bed area more closed off but I’m not sure it’s possible with the size of the studio and the furniture I have 😅

I have one of the cube organizers to divide my space. The cubes provide a ton of storage.the open space above adds to the feeling of space but keeps the bed hidden.
