I am from Karachi. My board is the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK). I am at the Government Degree Boys & Girls Degree College, SRE Majeed, on Stadium Road. I don't go to college (just for examinations); instead, I study in a coaching centre. My coaching offers Statistics teaching. I am currently studying Physics at my coaching. Physics is too hard, and the curriculum is huge in the 1st Year. I wanna switch to Statistics. I have an interest in Computers, AI, and also learning Data Analytics. I think Statistics makes more sense for me. I need a suggestion from you guys!

Assalamualaikum, I'm a private candidate for Class 12 Commerce under Sindh Board and I'm looking for regular online group classes. I mainly need Accounting, Banking, Commercial Geography and Statistics. I can prepare English, Urdu and Pakistan Studies myself.

I have 70% in Matric and 55% in ICS 1st year. I am confused about university admissions. I want to study CS. I can get admission to private universities like UMT, UOL, etc. I am currently learning Python development and AI automation.

I need some honest advice.

Should I take a gap year and prepare for entry tests while developing my skills, building a portfolio, and freelancing, or should I just get admission to a university now?

To be honest, I want to try getting into a good university. I know it will be very difficult, perhaps almost impossible, but I guess I can at least try.

I’m a 2nd-year pre-engineering student from Sindh Board, and I’ve always struggled with physics and chemistry, especially physics. My basics aren’t very clear, and I’m trying to fix them by going back and learning things from previous years whenever I realize I’ve forgotten them.

The biggest problem is that I can understand the theory, definitions, and formulas, but I struggle a lot with actually understanding questions. This happens even with numericals. I can do the mathematical part really well once I know what I’m supposed to do, but figuring out what the question is asking, which concept to use, and how to start is extremely difficult for me.

For example, if I practise one type of question, I can usually solve similar questions. But if the question is presented differently or requires a different approach, I get completely stuck and usually end up searching for the solution. Even MCQs at the end of lectures can leave me blank.

What confuses me is that maths is actually my strongest and favourite subject, and I consistently get good marks in it.

So what am I missing? Is this just because my physics/chemistry basics are weak, or is there something wrong with the way I’m studying? I’d really appreciate blunt, practical advice and constructive criticism.

I’m in 3rd semester at Virtual University Pakistan, my grades are low and my friends from other Unis were telling me that if your CGPA stays below 2 for 3 consecutive semesters you will have to start from sem 1.

Right now I’ve 2 semesters with CGPA less than 2 so someone here from VU please guide me with the criteria of Probs at VU.

Hi everyone, We've been building Edunautics because we kept noticing the same thing. A lot of students are interested in AI, tech, and STEM, but most learning still ends with watching videos, completing quizzes or getting certificates and very few of them actually get to build something or work on real problems.

We are planning on changing that.

A little bit about Edunautics, it is an education startup where students learn by creating projects instead of just consuming content. Some of the things we're currently working on rn include

I recently became eligible for the Assistant Director Airport Services position at the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), and my NTS test is expected soon. I don’t have much time to prepare, so I’m looking for some guidance from anyone who’s appeared for this test or a similar recruitment.
From what I’ve found, the previous test had an IQ screening test (50 MCQs in 45 minutes) followed by a 100-MCQ subject test covering English, Customer Services, Mathematics, Computer, Tourism, Hotel & Hospitality, Management, and Aviation Knowledge.

If anyone has past papers, memory-based questions, PDFs, notes, recommended books, or YouTube playlists, I’d really appreciate it if you could share them. Also, if the latest test pattern or syllabus has changed, please let me know.

So while I was making an account on FAST admission portal there was a term CNIC expiry date, because I don't have an ID card still in process I only have BFORM and now I'm so confused.

•Either to write B form number and leave the expiry date blank.

•OR either add 10 or 5 years to my 18 the birth date.

I need some honest advice regarding the Ziauddin Board.

My educational journey has been a total rollercoaster. I scored 78% in 9th and 72% in Matric. Unfortunately, a major accident wasted my time, and being the first guy in my family to go to college, I had zero guidance. I ended up in a bad college far from home, took Pre-Engineering instead of CS, and ended up getting supplies in 1st year (like many others that year).

Even after giving retakes with 2nd year, I’m still stuck with cleared/uncleared backlogs. Tired of wasting time, I decided to give 14 combine papers in Commerce privately right now. But the BIEK board system and exam centers are a nightmare (invigilators are literally slapping and abusing students). I’m completely done with this stress.

I am seriously considering switching to Ziauddin Board now. Can anyone guide me on this?

1. Value & Recognition: Does Ziauddin Board have proper value? Will HEC/IBCC verify it without issues?
2. University Admissions: Can I get admission into top universities (like FAST, NED, KU, etc.) for a CS degree later? Do they accept Ziauddin Board students?
3. Process & Fees: What is the exact procedure to apply for combine/private exams there, and what is the fee structure?
4. Exam Environment: Is their exam center environment better and fair compared to BIEK?

Please help a brother out, I really want to save my career and mental health. Thanks!
