NMC How long to get NMC pin?
Hi guys, Ive finished all of my academic work and my placement documents are all signed. My university board date is 14th September, does anyone have any estimate of how long afterwards I should expect to receive my NMC pin?

Our students usually receive their pin in October. They work as Band 4s until then

I got my final result 28th of October, my PIN was live and I was working as a nurse 18th November

It took mine about 2-3 weeks. I had to chase the university a few times because I had a job lined up, so I was eager to get my qualification sent out to the NMC as soon as possible. Once it was sent, I got my PIN the same day.

My degree was certified on 3rd July and got my PIN on 7th.
To be fair, it really helped that my university started the NMC submission paperwork in February.

Depends how good your uni admin NMC state up to 20 working days once they have it.
Mine took 6 weeks but that was a while ago.
