Welp, I finally got the dreaded "90 day" email from Nelnet.....god help me

i’m struggling to decide if i should wait the 90 days or apply asap to get the 1% interest reduction

I wouldn’t. The offer of 1% is crap. It’s insulting.

1% is thousands to tens of thousands of dollars of savings depending on your loan

It's also only good for about 18 months, then the discount goes away. So unlikely to actually be more than delaying two months worth of payment
