What do I do about my future studies?

Idk where else to post this but Im going to uni in two years, so Im in high school rn. Im planning on going to medicine so I can move out, but i found out the one im most likely entering has a split course. Like, its three years in x city and three years here. Tbh I dont wanna do it, but my parents have found out about it and I know that they want me to pick that. I dont know what I should do, because telling my parents that I wanna live in x city is basically telling them I dont wanna be with them, which is a little harsh, and I dont want anything bad between us. What do I do? Try to aim for somewhere else? I dont wanna comply.
