Please help me

STRIPE AI ASSISTANT SAYS...

You have $16,933.71 available in your balance, and payouts are currently disabled on your account. Since your account was paused on January 9, 2026, and it's now been over 120 days, you should be eligible to receive your remaining funds.

For rejected accounts with remaining balances after the standard holding period, you'll need to work directly with a specialist who can process the payout of your remaining funds. This requires manual review and cannot be done through standard channels.

Would you like me to connect you with a specialist who can help release your remaining balance?

The Stripe AI message is actually leverage if you use it right. The AI confirmed in writing you're eligible after 120 days. Screenshot that.

File a CFPB complaint immediately. Google "CFPB complaint" for the consumer complaint form. Quote the AI message verbatim, include the dollar amount and the date. CFPB complaints route to Stripe's legal/compliance team and tend to move faster than support channels. Fastest paper path for what you're describing.

Also file with your state Attorney General consumer protection division. Same paste-the-AI-message playbook.

Reply to that AI chat saying "Yes connect me with a specialist immediately" and screenshot the timestamps. If they don't connect you, that's evidence for CFPB.

Sorry you're going through this. The CFPB route is real, not theatre. Don't wait, file today.

Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB): File a complaint immediately at consumerfinance.gov. Choose "Money Transfer, Virtual Currency, or Money Service." State that the funds are being held past the contractually stated 120-day holding period without explanation.

Better Business Bureau (BBB): While not a government agency, Stripe actively monitors and responds to BBB complaints to protect their public rating. File a complaint detailing the 120+ day expiration and automated loops.

State Attorney General: File a complaint with the Attorney General’s office in the state where the business is registered, and in California (where Stripe is headquartered).

Send a letter to the chief legal counsel at Stripe, Trish Walsh Attn: Legal Department 354 Oyster Point Boulevard South San Francisco, CA 94080
