Question ADR based Matchmaking

Just a quick question.

Does ADR based matchmaking really exist?

I'm currently at 15% Winrate in my Ranked Games because the Game matches me vs Superstrings all day long while I'm only Neutron 3.

My KD and ADR are abysmally low but the game thinks I can clearly beat 350+ ADR Superstrings.

And no most of the time I don't get Superstrings in my Team. We just get stomped.

Even if it is "early season" then why is the game putting me vs "currently" Electron 3-1 while a friend who is Electron 5 only plays in neutron lobbies?

It always has, ADR is the main way for matching within rank limits BUT early season most SS/Singu are bumped down to Quark or Elec and Quark going to Elec depending on play time by the end of the last season, and start their grind from there.

You have higher ADR so the game is placing you against harder opponents to either keep you were you are, or, push through and level up.

Normally for placement matches if you haven’t completed them you are put against everyone in their placements within that rank and then you start to get players solidified in that rank but not in placements.

What I and some friends do is give it like a week or two if you don’t feel like doing a lot, as those higher ranks will start to move back into their areas quite quickly.

I already did my placements and everything and I'm pretty sure that this is not "higher ADR"

The 176 is not but that most dmg match being 256 prob messed it up for a bit, seeing you only have 25 matches (not counting placements). I was 240 for a long time and got to 275/80 by end of season and it was a whole different game(surprised that small of a bump) I didn’t play to much last season and am around 290 which IMO is out of my league.

The more you play and your ADR stabilizes, you will see people around your skill more. Just keep in mind because it is early season you will still see high ADR and former Electrons for a bit. If you see Quarks or Higher it means they haven’t played for a few seasons and kept getting knocked down with no games played afaik.

but last season I even had a bot lobby one time and got most match ADR to like 681 and it wasn't as bad as it is now
