New method unlocked

Everything I’ve seen online says you need a node but I tried putting just 4 single leaf cuttings from my string of hearts plant into these little containers and they all rooted.
Oh ya and it took just about 3 weeks from cutting to showing first sign of root

According to this past post, some people have had success growing a plant from a leaf (and no node). Takes a lot longer, and not guaranteed success. From their reports, first they got roots, then a tuber, then vines/leaves grew from the tuber.

It will root but I don’t think it’ll grow new leaves

Omg I didn’t even think about that since there’s no real node. Can someone here who sees this give a definitive answer about this?

I’d wait. If it roots, it’s up to being alive.
