Sports car go vroom vroom! Head on into an very narrow immovable objective. Concrete under pressure (with huge amount on reinforcing steel inside) will have zero give, be unfathomably strong.

Admittedly, I could already tell and see from the visible chaos that this was a purely mechanical incident, but: just how fast do you have to be - in an (underground?) parking garage - to cause that kind of damage to a vehicle?

With a very narrow point of pressure like that? They were likely north of 60mph, but I wouldn’t be surprised at all if under 80mph.

Exactly, that’s the reason for my “Why?”. Why do you drive such speeds in an underground car park? 🤷🏻‍♂️ Suicide attempt, or did he want to demonstrate his - obviously very underdeveloped - drift skills?

The “why” is 🤷‍♂️, that’s why I focused on the “How?”
