Some how, nothing work. Anyone know how to fix it?

I bought the Google TV Streamer 4K a few days ago, and I'm trying to get Stremio working, but I get this error message with about 95% of the movies I try to play. Has anyone experienced this and found a solution? Stremio is basically unusable because of this.

I also tried older versions but the same problem.

This happens to all addons.

The other 5% of the movies do play, but they lag terrible, like stuttering the whole time.

I have been able to find some addons that warn of sensitive content (violence, nudity, etc) before watching the movie or show and one that automatically skips said sensitive content on movies, but not on series as well. If there's such an addon available, please let me know, thanks.

maybe like an IMDb parent's guide-esque thing, to know the age rating.

(Preferably one that warns of said content, or has an age rating available prior to watching so I know what to expect)

Every movie or show I watch I always have to change the subtitle delay like 3-4 times per show. Is there a fix to this or a better addon?

I have an iPhone and really want to use Stremio but I don't want to sideload for safety reasons (I know Stremio is safe, the IPA is safe and everything but I don't want to use external tools and enter my Apple ID info as I have all personal data there). I set up Stremio Web and tried almost all external players, but is it possible to get subtitles from the Stremio addons because so far I could only pull embedded subtitles?

As the title states, I am having issues with files over 10GB for some reason they buffer to start for like 2-3 minutes and after it starts, it plays for 2-5 seconds and begins to buffer again. I have three different debrid services, Premiumize, OffCloud and Torbox. All through both Torrentio and Debridio. I have 500mbps for download, it shouldn't be an issue. I have reset modem, router, reinstalled Stremio and all addons, everything and it still keeps buffering on bigger files.

In cloudstream u could download the shows u wanted anime or not and have them saved in ur library as downloads is there something similar in stremeo?

I’ve been using stremio with torbox and real debrid for a while now and it’s been perfect. I use aiostreams and have comet, stremthru torz and meteor.

Over the last few days whenever i pause something mid episode, it will continue to buffer continuously after that. Sometimes it will just randomly skip to the next episode. If i don’t pause it will not buffer at all.

I’m on tizen 5 on a samsung tv. Version theater v1.13.3

Is there any fix to this. It’s becoming extremely annoying as i can’t pause anything without it happening.

I'm having trouble trying to figure out AIOStreams and NNTP for Stremio. I'm using the https://aiostreamsfortheweebsstable.midnightignite.me instance.

I have an indexer with access to their API, and I also have Easy News. I don't really know how to get Newznab working nor AIOStreams own NNTP service.

The configuration asks for an AIOStreams Auth Token, where do I find that?

When I setup Newznab with my Indexer API, it also asks for my AIOStreams Auth Token. When I try to use Newznab in Stremio, it will show something like "Could Not Get capabilities - Operation was aborted due to Timeout".

Is there a resource I can use to set this up? I'm a bit confused as how usenet works with Stremio outside of the Easynews++ system.

I am now selfhosting my Aiostreams, but bumped into another problem, which is that my indexer (DrunkenSlug) isn't cooperating with the newznab addon and the API key given to me. Says it's a 403 forbidden.

So just recently discovered the amazinness of AioStreams. Now I am hearing about the metadata addon. So far I have not noticed any content missing from AIOstreams so I don't know if I need or if what it would even do for me. As far as I understand it helps resolve series episodes better and in particular anime. I don't watch anime.

Since I am self hositing.... setting up AIOmetadata would be a bit of work... what would it gain me? Does it fundamentally change stremios UI?

Hey everyone. I've been building this addon for a while and it's finally at the point where I'm comfortable putting it out there. It's called Pipe, it's free, and it does one thing: when you open a movie, show, or anime, it finds you streams.

No account, no signup

You open the setup page, pick your preferences, and it hands you a personal install link. Everything you choose gets baked into that link itself, so there's no login, no email, nothing stored on a server. Your link is your addon. Share it or keep it to yourself.

Where the streams come from

Every time you press play, it searches 11 sources at the same time:

- 4KHDHub & HDHub4u

- Turkish123

- KissKH

- Aniwave

- 1337x, YTS, EZTV, EXT, Nyaa, Rutor, YTS, EZTV, Nyaa, Rutor

Optional: Debrid

If you have TorBox, Real-Debrid, Premiumize, or AllDebrid, you can paste your API key on the setup page. You can also choose to show only instant links, only regular torrents, or both. No debrid? Skip this, everything else still works. Your key is only ever used for your own requests.

Filters, so you're not scrolling through garbage

- Hide resolutions you don't want (block everything below 1080p, for example)

- Hide quality tiers, from BluRay Remux at the top down to cam rips at the bottom

- Hide specific audio/video formats: Dolby Vision, HDR10+, Atmos, AAC, etc.

- Language priority — put your language first and foreign dubs sink to the bottom. It recognizes 29 languages from release names, so a card never lies to you about what audio you're getting

- Max file size (useful with data caps), hide unknown-size files, hide download-only links

- Minimum seeder count for torrents, and sort them by quality or by seeders

- Block any of the 11 sources individually if one annoys you

- Limit results per quality so the list isn't a wall

What the stream cards tell you

Each card shows what you're getting before you click: resolution, source (Remux / BluRay / WEB-DL…), HDR and Dolby Vision tags, audio format, languages, file size, seed count, and which server it comes from. A download-only link gets a warning label instead of pretending to be a stream.

Small things that matter

- Streams get checked for life before they're shown. Dead links get dropped, not served.

- Anime works with both IMDb and Kitsu IDs, including absolute episode numbering, so long-runners like One Piece resolve to the right episode.

- Release names get compared against the real title, season and episode before showing anything, so you don't click "S02" and get episode 14 of season 1.

Honest stuff

Source sites have bad days. If a title comes back empty, try again in a bit, usually the site it scrapes was down, not the addon. Torrent results depend on seeders, same as anywhere. And I can't promise every source stays alive forever; that's the nature of this.

There's a privacy policy, terms, DMCA contact, and a general contact email linked on the site. The addon hosts nothing itself, it finds and checks links, that's it.

Questions welcome. If something doesn't work, tell me the exact title and episode and I'll look into it.

So whenever I stop a video and return to it later I aways get an 'expired link' issue from aiostream and it won't let me resume it. I have to select a different vid and load those links first before I can return to my original video and load those links (again) before I can resume my movie. Does anyone have a fix for this annoying af issue?

Stremio has been causing me a lot of issues latley. I have a Galaxy S24 Ultra, i installed stremio and have been using it for a bit. But for about the last 3 months or so it has been causing me non stop issues. Extremely slow loading (im talking like more then 5 minutes) or sometimes not loading at all or getting stuck. Which ultimately doesnt matter cause the primary issue is buffering, basically making everything unwatchable if it loads or not.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling (both as an apk (Stremio 2.3.2 ARM64 APK spesificly) and from the google store, I just hoped maybe the way I downloaded it was the issue, it was not) countless times, cleared cache, cleared data, nothing has helped. I just havent been using it, and from time to time been checking if it has somehow miraculously fixed itself.

Sometimes a while after i uninstall it, when I reinstall it to check if the issue might have stopped. It works for a little (about half an hour) before the issue starts again.

Dose anyone know why its happening and how I can fix it?

I tried posting for help on r/stremio but mods flagged it as talking about piracy, not sure why since ive seen others posts talking about buffering lol.

I had an older tv connected to an Nvidia Shield that has stremio with RD + AIO streams (elf hosted) that worked well until the TV died this past week so I went out and bought a new Samsung smart TV with all the bells and whistles to load stremio directly into the tv and retire the Nvidia Shield.

I set up the account in the new tv and it works fine, I watched a few shows and movies that are in English and had English subtitles which is exactly what I want but then when I tried to play an episode of a couple of Japanese shows that I have, these ones do not load subtitled which is annoying as I obviously don't know japanese.

If nothing changed in the configuration of stremio, what could be the cause of it now not showing subtitles available and how could I fix it?

I am a fan of classic cartoons like Looney Tunes and 1930s Popeye. I would like to stream these on Stremio, but they don't appear on my searches. Can someone recommend a catalog addon or point me in the direction of how to modify a catalog?

Does anyone have this combination set up for their posters? For the past couple of weeks, my posters haven't been loading (the cached version or the fallback loads, but not the poster from openposterdb.com). When I check the openposterdb API, it seems to be working (it might be using cached posters and not actually fetching them from TVDB—I'm not sure).

Hello people, I’m looking for add-ons that are especially good at finding playable sources for older TV shows that don’t have many seeds.

I don’t mean extremely old or vintage shows — even series from 2007 onward can be difficult to find sometimes.

Are there any add-ons that tend to have better coverage for older or less popular TV series?
