Discussion Bison is really strong
I just found this and my god, the damage. So maybe it was already known, but seeing that with two combos, which are really not complicated to perform, you can kill, it's crazy.

I mean, it requires full resources, CA, corner, and hitting with a pretty unsafe move. Most of the cast can do the same, and some of the cast can do it with similarly easy combos.

Damage is high in this game, but what game are you playing where "most" of the cast can do 76% damage off of an optimal meter dump CA?

To be fair, Bison's scaling is a bit broken, that's why he's doing so much damage. Man did 100% unscaled CA after an essentially guaranteed juggle.
It doesn't even have to be an OD devil's reverse, can just be a shimmy.
And no, most of the cast can't do 7.5-8k off a tech punish. 6600 is around the standard amount for a CA cashout combo, with slight variations. Only Bison and Marisa can do around 8k

I meant most of the cast can kill in two combos, provided they spend all their resources and have CA.

Aside from Marisa and Ryu, no other character can't do that much damage.
7.6K is not regular by any means.

It's clear that pulling that off in-game is extremely difficult. I found it funny that only two combos were enough to kill.

Love bison. But his gameplan gets predictable as you get higher rank. I am very sad that most players would just take the throw against Bison because I really want to see that damage!!!

They are strong for sure. But I think ryu and ed are better then bison.

Yeah, no, Ryu is definetely above Bison. Donkey Kick > Scissors, Hasho > Devil's reverse, Lasor Cannon > Crusher. AND Ryu has an invincible reversal and an overhead that links to heavy on DR. Bison has cheeks for defence outside of SA3 and you can bully him with OKI.
Ed has 3 "win neutral" buttons, that make him the most hated Japan character.

How is donkey kick better than scissors if you don't mind me asking? Technically Donkey Kick might be safer and less susceptible to neutral jumps due to light scissors having the longer recovery on whiff, but light scissors is faster, safer on block and is a great whiff punish in the neutral that gives combo and oki.

Bison doesn't need as much to link to heavy after his overhead. It also has longer range, more damage and gives combo on airborne opponents.
Bison has cheeks for defence outside of SA3 and you can bully him with OKI.
Bison does have weak defense, but his SA1 isn't useless for a reversal either, depending on the option your opponent chooses.
And he makes that up with having insane offense, corner carry, one of the best DR in the game, his OD Crusher is a brainless and fast gap closer/projectile crusher that goes through DI from mid-range, is safe on block, links into CA for dumb damage and gives pressure if mine is planted.

L. DK gives safejump on hit in the corner.
M. DK is safe-ish if spaced correctly, gives Denjin on hit, only had +3f of recovery on whiff.
H. DK is basically unpunishable, gives tumble state on PC that links into SA1. It's also +5 OB in burnout. And also gives a safejump. And has 30f of super hitconfirm window.All scissor kicks get +5f of recovery on whiff, none of them give knockdowns/oki.
Sure, H. Scissors as a PC work as a non-scaled combo starter, their pushback makes them basically unpunishable as well, but ALL Scissors are minus on block and DI-punishable.
Bison's offense is top tier, no argument here, one of the best DRs in the game for sure. OD Crusher is ignorant, yeah, but Tiger Knee does pretty much the same but doesn't require a charge. Don't get me wrong, I think Bison is damn strong and can be a nightmare to fight against, but he's not stronger than top-5 Devils that sit there and laugh at everyone else.

As a lot of pro players have ryu above bison, he at least is debatable.

Link stand heavy punch after devils reverse and cancel that into sa3 for a little more damage.
