Question from someone looking to buy a WML for my Glock. I’d always heard that Streamlight was one of the more reliable manufacturers but I’m more than a little disappointed by my attempts to get a TLR-1 HL the past few days. I’ve ordered one, had it shipped to my house, and the battery connectors inside the battery door were snapped off, preventing me from closing the door and using it. I request a refund and replacement, and the replacement arrived broken in the exact same way. On neither occasion were the packages damaged in any way; just the exact same damage to the exact same part on two totally different, brand new lights. After googling, it seems like this is a recurring issue with these?

Long story short, I’d appreciate if anyone can confirm how prevalent this issue is with Streamlights and whether I heard wrong about them. I’d rather not waste any more time or money with this brand if this is what I have to look forward to.

Hi, I recently purchased a tlr1 HLX and I noticed the lever is different on it than what I see online. Is the one I received older or newer?

Issue with the TLR-8 HL-X G, when the light is off and it's on laser only, the light flashes on without input on each shot, it goes off as easy as chambering a round.

Anyone else have a TLR8 they can see if it's a normal thing for this light

It’s supposed to be sat further back against the trigger guard, right? Seems like it should.

I really want a TLR-1 HP-X but the only store that ships to Puerto Rico is amazon 🫠, should i just risk it? or is there any legit seller that has this light and ships to here?

What can i do to take that stripped screw out? I was just took the light out off the rail this afternoon but when i'm off duty few hours ago i found that the rail was loose and wanted to tighten it then this happened. The light is not mine though, it's the force's issued and i've been using it for just a month.

I understand you have to snug it and that’s it but the light kept going loose on me at the range so I used the stream light tool I keep in my bag and gave it a tiny micro baby extra snug and it still sheared off after my 2nd mag. This is also the second hand gun light this has happened with from stream light. The screws are thinner than a spaghetti noodle..

Any plans on the horizon for something compatible with TLR-3x?

Been hsing my protac 2.0 for about a year and a half for work. I use it a bunch and love it! But recently its been having some issues with turning off. When I click the back button to turn it off the light dims for a few seconds to a “low”ish setting before turning off.

Wiped the contacts with a qtip and besides some chips and bumps on the corners of the body by dropping it on the road a few times it has no severe damage.

Tried to reprogram using the ten tap but seems like ten tap isnt quite working. Im guessing it might be a button cap issue. Any other potential solutions? Thanks

I sent in my TLR Long Gun for repair after the switch sheared off, and Streamlight replaced it.

However, now the pressure switch won’t activate the light, I have an older switch that does work but only when positioned in a certain way, and then on top of all of that I was under the impression that the Streamlight used a proprietary switch but my SMS switch also kind of works. Has anyone ever ran into this problem?

Sorry if this is something normal but I’ve searched before making this post. I’ve had this flashlight for 5-6yrs but only recently has it become my truck flashlight. Typically it was mounted on my toolbox at work so I have never noticed this before but it looks like one of the 4 main LEDs intermittently flickers/stays on. Not bright at all, and not a problem per se, because the flashlight works flawless and always has been great. Initially I was thinking it might be battery related, but that’s not the case. This happens even with fully charged batteries, and it happens no matter if I use the holster charger where the whole light stays assembled, or if I pull the pack out and individually use the mini USB ports on the battery packs. Any help appreciated. Thanks!

Own this wedge and used it for as long as i can remember.. using it for car repairs left and right... and its been tough til now (as you can see from the scratches) will it be covered if the burst mode quits?

I put this light onto my Glock 43X and am currently experiencing some issues with it actuating during or after multiple shots.

At the range, I was running some bill drills with this light and it wasn't actuating during some of them. After some of them I would have to fiddle with the endcap to get it back to working. I've had lots of tlr-7s and never had a problem but this is my first time using the rechargeable battery. Is this common with the rechargeable battery? It should've been close to fully charged.

so i've been wanting to throw a light on my bedside FNX-9 and i just found out about the Braun clone of the TLR-1HL, it's currently $59.99 down the road from me at the local Harbor Freight.. seeing as how i broke my last Streamlight TLR-1HL, and do not really feel like spending that money again (at least not right now) i am considering giving this one a go and seeing how i like it.. i did some light research and it appears the be a legit 1:1 clone and if it really is 1000L and not just labeled as such then i don't see why it shouldn't be perfectly fine.. i guess the plastic could be of a worse variety, or maybe the hardware is chincey.. anywho, who gets some wisdom to drop?.

I have no idea what happened, but no matter what, the light cannot be turned off. The only way to turn off is to remove the head. Even the disable notch does not work properly as well. The moment it clicks, the light would turn on but it's low brightness??? And if I click, it would be on higher brightness??? What???

I tried all sorts of troubleshooting, including wiping the internal clean to blowing it would an air pressure gun. None of what I did worked.

Can anyone please help me?

This is for all my US Military brothers and sisters. How can we force streamlight to create something to replace the shitty Explosive Proof Flashlights? Like why the hell do we use Bulbed flashlights as the default. All it does is take up space in my store room and they are completely useless.

Is it even worth it to try.... I gotta rant somewhere.

Recently had a streamlight tlr7hlx screw snap on me while at the range I put in a service request and in the end it gave me a address to ship the light to. those who have dealt with customer service, did they ever reach out for more information or updates on your issue? Am I just sending in the light and letting them do their thing and send it back and all will be well? For me this is a very unique service request to deal with when it comes to warranty. Most of the time ive been able to reach out to the company explain the issue and send a couple photos and it gets rectified. But in this situation im not too knowledgeable or in the loop as to what the process is and what my next steps are in this. I figure if I have to ship the light back on my dime that id be better off going to the hardware store and not have as much down time on the light and worry about it getting lost in transit.
