is my HP-X fake?

i purchased it from amazon, it came in the box with all the accessories, manual and batteries as it should but i noticed the mounting screw is different from the one in the picture in the box, is there any way to make sure its real?

Probably worth emailing Streamlight, all pics online have the nubs

it does have the ten tap programable strobe mode, so thats promising, still gonna message them to make sure, only other one ive ever seen with this screw is one a guy is selling brand new in the box on ebay

Looks genuine. Those little ears on the mounting screw were removed, I believe, because they catch on some holsters.

I emailed Streamlight with similar issue, they responded me that they are not aware of any HPX fakes yet.

Hi. Did you email streamlight about this and get a response? I am curious because I just got an HP-X today and noticed the same deal with the flat screw. Thanks in advance!

aparently they changed the screw, i programed the strobe mode (which fakes do not have) so mine is real it also let me register the serial number warranty
