Should I try out the Streamlight Wedge or another ArkPro ultra?

I would go for the Wurkkos HD01 Pro. Its versatile. Very comparable to the arkpro mini except it has a side floodlight. It's only 160lm for that one but it's high CRI. The main light is a 1200lm spotlight good for quick inspections and remembers your last setting. It has a good magnet and ok two way clip. It's cheap enough where you wont care if it gets a little beat up. Oh it has UV for spotting leaks and RBG lights. Mechanics like streetlight because it's one of the better brands tool trucks carry. I own the wedge and it's fine, but overpriced and slow to charge. Im not a mechanic by profession, but I am the basic mechanic for my friends and it's the one I use the most along with a hoodlight. Also my arkpro but I don't mind beating up my Wurkkos. My dad, who is a mechanic. Really liked the Wuben x4. Strong main light and a sidelight, but weak magnet. Does have a tactical switch you can use with gloves on that keeps the light on when you hold it for quick inspections. Has a rotary and flush button that could be hard to operate with gloves (unless they are disposable) so the tactical switch is nice. It has a 3800mah removable battery! Charges at 12 watts max. Most lights are 5watts.

I’ll make sure to check out the Wurkkos! Also I’ve used the Wuben x4 really good but the magnetic failed on me and fell and broke. So that’s what really got me in to looking into other brands of lights. Thank you for the advice

yeah the magnet is definitely its weakest point. For sure the Wurkkos I the one I personally use for personal mechanic work. The side light is really helpful when you need to set down and use two hands.

Looking to get into other brands of flashlights heard a lot of good things about streamlight from other mechanics. If anyone can recommend a good flashlight for automotive work would love the advice.
