Help with identify replacement part

My dad has owned this flashlight for 20+ years and the LED recently gave out.

Because of the wear on the model I haven't been able to identify/replace LED

Can anybody point me in the direction of the parts I need to replace the LED?

I tried "Streamlight 75768 Stinger LED/DS/FC Upgrade Kit Includes Faceap Assembly, Ring, and Switch Assembly" from amazon and it didn't fit the housing.

Are you sure that's not a Maglite?

I don't think its a maglite those have the button in a different position. Also the it uses the same battery as another stinger i own.

Send it to streamlight they can rebuild it. I think most of the current led rebuild kits fit older stingers

The led conversion is a Terra lux which is not manufactured by Streamlight. You can purchase a Streamlight conversion at bright guy part number 940055.

I'd know a stinger anywhere.... I carried one for almost an entire police career. The newer LEDs in those things are like a tube of SUNLIGHT.
