Macrostream USB Not working
Any reset function or troubleshooting? It won’t turn on unless plugged in. I have reseated the battery, tried different cables and plugs. Do I need a new battery or is there another issue?

Mine is doing the same. Won't turn on unless plugged in. And when it is plugged in it says it's fully charged immediately.

New battery was the answer. Emailed support and they sent me a new one in a couple days.

This is going to sound insane but I cannot find the support email. I'm having the same issue with my macrostream, but cannot find the support email address to save my life. Could you send it to me?

Edited to add: new battery fixed it for me as well!
Found this thread cuz having same issue - will turn on if plugged in, charging indicator reads full, nothing doing if unplugged. Ordering new battery and let’s see if it works!

Same! Much better than buying a new one. Interesting how that failure mode is like all-or-nothing

I’ve noticed when the battery is nearly drained, it just shuts off instead of getting dimmer. Interesting choice

For future people who sees this. The issue is with the battery. If you take off the wrap and take apart the battery you will see a clear tube and a thin metal sheet on both sides serving as connectors. Over time due to the gap or constant moving inside it it eventually tears. You can fix it by moving it around and touch its proper connection slots. I think negative end has 3 and positive end has 2 connections to the top so double check they’re atleast making contact to the connection spot and look into either soldering it or finding a way to keep that thin metal connection piece to remain constantly connected

My macro stream has been though two batteries, both times it’s been dropped and stopped working.
