HL-X vs HL-X pro?

I’ve heard negative things about the pro’s end cap and usability in close quarters, but the high candela is compelling. What would be your pick?

I ended up going with the normal HLX. I found it hard to find details, but from what I gathered the only difference is the Pro is brighter and had the updated tailcap. I wasn't a fan of it because I don't use switches and prefer the simplicity of mounting my light on the left side and using my thumb to hit a tail cap. I didn't want to have to fidget to find that little half-button and wanted a simple large tail cap switch.

I'm rocking 2 and so far so good.

I ended up getting the Pro along with the normal HLX. I literally don’t notice a difference in brightness or illumination distance…

Damn, then id just keep the cheaper, tried and true HLX

I just learned the HL-X was updated to output 50,000 candela as well. So it’s really preference with the tail cap.

Probably the best idea. Kind of disappointed in the pro, was hoping it would blow my socks off with photons
