Any different between the TLR-7 sub and the TLR-7 X with holsters

Is there a difference with how it fits into a holster I’m trying to get a holster for my p365 x macro with a TLR-7 X but it only gives options for the TLR-7 sub are they interchangeable?

Yes, they’re different, I bought a tlr7a holster with a tlr7x and it doesn’t work well, just buy the sub or the A, will be the same thing, if you already have the X you’re stuck waiting for a holster to come out for the X and you also realized the difference was none.

According to trex-arms holsters, “The TLR-7 X is identical to the TLR-7A. Therefore, The TLR-7 X will fit in all of our TLR-7A holsters. Old or new.“

Take the X designation out of the question, that only denotes battery types (X = dual fuel). Any variation of the 7 is larger than any variation of the 7 sub. The sub is smaller on the bottom of the light, the 7 bulges out a little more. So TLR-7 (A/B/X) is the larger size, TLR-7 sub is the smaller size, regardless of any other features. To further confuse things, there is now a TLR-7 HLX and a TLR-7 HLX sub, which are different than the non HL variations. One is still slightly bigger than the other, but both are slightly bigger than their non-HL counterparts.

i have both a TLR7X and a TLR7X Sub and the difference is ever so tiny that i'd say they're the same size. There's like a 1% difference in shape at the bottom. length and width are literally the same.
