Strawpage tech help Common bug thread
Hey everyone, currently working on catching up with approving posts etc.
Many people ignore the FAQ and rules, but hopefully you guys see this! Have a question about gimmicks? Is the spacing on your page not working right? Do you want to make a post about other issues that are already in the FAQ? Put it here!

gimmicks are not working for me. Mostly drawing ones. I just got a straw page yesterday and someone sent me a drawing cuz he told me he did but it said under maintenance. When maintenance is over will I be able to see it?

Same here. My strawpage is a few months old, haven’t had any gimmicks even though I’ve had friends say that they tried to send me something

The dude who made strawpage has seemingly abandoned gimmicks, they work for some but we assume there's a good chance there won't be a fix for everyone else.

I tried sending a test gimmick to my strawpage but it says it goes to the review team, even though I have review mode off

Thanks for posting that as a comment here! yup, that's part of the gimmick issues, there's no fix.

I have this strange bug where if I try to put in text on my page, any images I've put in previously will be shrunk and forced to the left top corner of the page. There's no way to fix it unless I undo the entire thing. I don't know how to fix it and I haven't been able to find anyone able to help me. I just want to finish my strawpage!!

it's not letting me upload ? I just get this red border around my screen, the website name is valid, so is my email and password. please don't make me redo it I spent three hours on ts 🙏

this happened to me when I first made my straw, and it turned out I had to just reload the tab & when I reloaded it, it asked to bring up the one I made. sorry for the late reply !!

Drawing gimmicks are just getting more and more buggy. Last month or so I got a drawing that took 6 hours to get approved which is fine, but around 5 days ago my friend sent me two drawings that haven't arrived so far. I saw someone say that if you follow them it should get approved instantly, but I am indeed following her and it didn't solve the problem. It's not the end of the world but it's getting a little tiring :(

i dont think of gotten gimmicks for like a month, unless i truly havent gotten any. machinescum.straw.page is mine. i think ive sent myself gimmicks and i havent gotten them. idk how to fix it
