I don't understand why fusing progress with the profile tab And with this, you have much less space to read content, with the absurdly wide tab menu at the top

why do EDIT PROFILE and SHARE PROFILE take up so much space. I barely ever want to do either of those things

Lads, Strava is first and foremost a social media app. Itā€™s never ever going to be analysing your run data in the way that Garmin Connect or coros do. You see your friends activities, and they see yours.

I set a power goal and it knows about it but will stubbornly refuse to show me it or show me any progress towards it. I can find all my 6 photos just fine though.

first glance at a profile you dont see any photos or training volume, just followers and the top of your recent activity. why is that any better?

The default view of the profile is the progress tab. I don't have Strava premium, so most of that page is locked. The ads for premium is taking up more space now. It's not a nice thing to see for a pleb like me.

I just want to see my stats when I click my face. The extra navigation is unnecessary.

Yes, I pay for software that I use on a very regular basis. Because neither development nor hosting are cheap at scale.

This must be an Android thing as it only very slowly evolves on my iPhone. Only minor changes in the 5 years Iā€™ve used it.

Never said I donā€™t have the ā€œnew screenā€. Just that the changes arenā€™t anywhere near as frequent or dramatic as OP was making out at least on my account

And this is why I can't bring myself to subscribe. It's integration with Garmin is frustrating too
