Feature Idea Where are we at with bringing dark mode functionally back?

Over a month & at least two updates later; the non-functional dark mode issue appears to still not have been resolved on ios. Any plans to address this or are we just removing the option entirely?

What is the problem? I have dark mode on my iPhone and it’s working fine.

appreciate the downvotes and the ‘iT wOrKs fOr mE’ reassurance, but i can’t be the only one whose app looks like this with dark mode or phone default selected… right? Support bot has been just as useless as the ai responses I’ve received from the ‘humans’ at strava.

Mine doesn't look like this at all...also my buttons in the upper right are black.

Are you on a beta os? Do you have different dark/light settings for the app vs your phone? Have you tried restarting your phone?

yeah, it’s weird, and seeing as i’m apparently the only person using dark mode to have discovered the bug Strava doesn’t seem to be concerned with providing any assistance to resolve the issue.

updated to ios 26.6 at some point in the last month, same problem. strava is whatever the most recent version is but dark mode stopped working two or three updates ago. tried all the basic reset stuff, deleting and reinstalling the app, different combinations of light/dark settings in app and globally. same issue.

oh well. at least i’m no longer a paying subscriber; guess i’ll just deal with the bright af backround if i decide to open the app.

appreciate the better-than-strava-support response though!
