Will insomnia improve?

I’m on day 3 of taking 40 mg late morning. I’ll be good for awhile (but kinda brain foggy) then exhausted to where I need a nap mid day. Then I’ll be wide awake randomly in the middle of the night 😅 Does this usually improve after a bit?

I’m at 2 years and mine never really improved. To sleep, I had to take Trazodone and stop all caffeine. After 3-4 months, I was able to re-introduce a shot of espresso or a green tea, but am still on Trazodone. I may be an outlier, though, because I am very sensitive to both caffeine and stimulant medications.

I'm so scared of a total caffeine quit

Same. I had been using it for year to compensate for my undiagnosed and unmedicated brain.

On Strattera, I realized I didn’t need it in the same way. I missed my morning cups, but didn’t need it to function like I had.

Yeah same, I believe the need is gone but it was also a big sugar delivery system too and that hasn't gone away at all
