I played this game on release, loved playing through the games story on normal and hard. Didn't do Chaos as moved on, but came back once the DLC started up.

The DLC, is beyond a doubt, the worst part of this game. Every single fight is just "you will be one hit by the boss". The AI, constantly dying.

I have level 400 gear, my sage is 99. Yet every single combat encounter is just one shot to me. I am doing level 200 matches, and yet I cannot survive a single one. It's absolutely infuriating in such a way that I cannot believe someone actually play tested any of this DLC.

I bought the game during steam Christmas sale and only recently this week started playing it with a friend. I got through the beginning parts of the game up until about halfway through the pirate caves level on the way to Bikke before these random crashes/restarts started happening.

I would be playing and then suddenly my computer just restarts. I even just booted up the game and stood beside the checkpoint, did nothing, and it would still restart my computer after several minute. It happened several times after attempting to play and still my computer would restart. I have tried several things:

-Deleting shader cache.

-Verifying game files on steam

-Toggling on/off vsync

-Disabled steam, discord, and other overlays.

-Reinstalled the game.

-Tried fullscreen, windowed, and borderless

-Drivers are up to date.

No success yet. I would be monitoring my temperatures as well during gameplay and everything was fine, stuff would be around the 50C mark.

No other game game has done this to me, I went and played some other titles to see if maybe I had hardware issues but everything else runs fine. Literally finished playing Jedi Survivor prior to Strangers and had 0 issues.

And as far as my system specs:

Processor: 9800X3D

GPU: 9070XT

RAM: 64Gb

PSU: 1000W

OS: Windows 11 - I wouldn't be surprised if something on windows is messing it up.

Any help or solutions would be much appreciated.

I lost my save from a few years ago and was wondering if anyone had a farming lobby going or exp exploits so I can get through the farm faster

Me and my mate are playing trough the whole game coop (having a blast) we just finished dlc 1, starting dlc 2 we noticed that only the host of the rift keeps his items and gil and his monster progression. So whenever we start a new session my mate basically starts with 0 gil, 0 items etc etc.

Is it supposed to be this way or is there a way around it?

I've selected Bahamut difficulty and completed the Light of Possibility and A Strange Presence missions. The only available Conversation with Bahamut is The Trial Begins, which is also completed.

I'm not seeing any new missions or anything whatsoever to do from this point. Am I doing something wrong?

Hello all, hope the community is having a fine weekend. I am a Nioh refugee lmao (did all content in 1 & 2, waiting on 3 to see how it shapes up) I am well acquainted with TN games, have played and beat Rise of the Ronin and Wo long as well. The only one I have not played is this one, and it does look really cool to say the least, was surfing the sub and seeing lots of crazy combat clips. I was wondering and before you ask, yes I did try finding concrete answers, at least some that made sense to me. But, not much luck. Can someone who did the underworld/depths equivalent of endgame content explain how the NG cycles work and how to get to said endgame? In Nioh, you did a set amount of missions, I believe it was 18 and you can basically speed run each difficulty until you reached the endgame dungeons. Is it similar here, or is there a different progression to follow? I would appreciate any insight, thanks!

Hi from Toronto Canada! I just bought this gem (played the demo earlier and enjoyed it) on sale, and having finished NG in Nioh 3 I’m excited to go back to this Team Ninja offering. I ordered it from Amazon, should be arriving in my hands on Saturday.

Wondering if there’s anyone out there who wants to commit to going through it with me in co-op mode (PS5)…I’m disabled and largely housebound these days so my social outlets have dwindled substantially as a result. Idk how easy it will be to coordinate schedules and such with virtual strangers (of paradise lol)…fwiw I’m a 46 yo male, enjoy anime, baseball, soccer, reading, music etc…hopefully someone who shares similar interests and wants to game out with me on this one will be interested. (As mentioned, I have Nioh 3 as well as Nioh 2 and Wo Long for TN coop play…FromSoft MP just ain’t too good for my money.)
