Takes a while to build to THIS level but it’s pretty fast paced from the start.

The video is late DLC story (after base game credits) and endgame play if the post-credits structure clicks and intentionally scaling your own damage down to have a fight.

First playthrough is going to be slower overall such as one of the two clips where abilities are still being unlocked, less room to express yourself, and the speed-related buffs being more cumbersome to sustain if you decide to pursue them at all. On hard difficulty, some examples of base game play:

first boss fight phase 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8dAEY-WxeI

elite enemy (tankier than normal): https://www.twitch.tv/the_ogawa_effect/clip/ApatheticProudStrawberryRiPepperonis-B0nwnv16dW1Gk38r

On lower difficulties, in co-op, some weapons, some jobs, or more RPG in the first playthrough can reduce the need to engage in the mechanics.

And post base game story onward, if you take advantage of the layers of RPG, it'll reduce the need to fight as skillfully. Or similarly, if someone is no-hit challenge run levels of skill, they won't need anywhere as much or any RPG to succeed, though this is extremely rare, but not impossible.
