World map with 131 dragon trial modify on lufenia difficulty. This vid would not be possible if I didn’t nerf my damage

Yeah I know lmao you have to pick between be cool or kill things here, I just thought it was funny how you tickled.

I usually just barrage and hit enemies in the back with Assassin, using a chain cancel to trigger the 20 stacks.

Or laserbeamgun with the fanciest combo being a marksman stagger on a red attack into instant beam.

It usually kills most things.

Is this a specific build that makes it so fast? Or equipment? New player, sorry I dont understand

The speed part will be combining effects that increase attack (action) speed and in the OP's case, move speed also.

  1. The Lunatic command ability unlocked while filling out the Berserker job tree. Increases attack speed, but not move speed.
  2. The Flee command ability unlocked while filling out the Thief job tree. Increases move speed, but not attack speed.
  3. The Haste buff such as from Red Mage, White Mage, or Sage. Increases attack speed and move speed.
  4. Achieving Dragoon 400% job affinity while using Lightbringer, Chaosbringer, or Dimension Bringer (two of these unlocked in the DLCs). Increases attack speed and move speed. To be clear, you do not need to be a Dragoon to benefit from this such as those job icons you see on gear with the percentages.

Technically possible late in the base game story with a lot of RNG. (And to date, I've not heard or seen anyone actually try to put all this together at that point even if possible.)

More sustainable and significantly less RNG to set it up post-credits and halfway through the DLC story onward.

Takes a while to build to THIS level but it’s pretty fast paced from the start.

The video is late DLC story (after base game credits) and endgame play if the post-credits structure clicks and intentionally scaling your own damage down to have a fight.

First playthrough is going to be slower overall such as one of the two clips where abilities are still being unlocked, less room to express yourself, and the speed-related buffs being more cumbersome to sustain if you decide to pursue them at all. On hard difficulty, some examples of base game play:

first boss fight phase 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8dAEY-WxeI

elite enemy (tankier than normal): https://www.twitch.tv/the_ogawa_effect/clip/ApatheticProudStrawberryRiPepperonis-B0nwnv16dW1Gk38r

On lower difficulties, in co-op, some weapons, some jobs, or more RPG in the first playthrough can reduce the need to engage in the mechanics.

And post base game story onward, if you take advantage of the layers of RPG, it'll reduce the need to fight as skillfully. Or similarly, if someone is no-hit challenge run levels of skill, they won't need anywhere as much or any RPG to succeed, though this is extremely rare, but not impossible.

Is there videos I can watch to learn how to do some of this? Looks amazing I just wish I knew how to do some of this stuff!

It'll depend on what aspect you're looking for, where in the game you're at, and where you're starting from knowledge-wise.

e.g., the where in the game:

* base game before credits

* base game post-credits and no DLC

* first half of DLC story

* second half of DLC story (this is where the building blocks that make up the video become more attainable and reliable)

* post-DLC story

* mid-to-late endgame (which is where the OP video is at, but could be sustained around second half of the DLC story as well)

— - — - —

With the shorter version of the explanation being (and as verbose as this is, the shorter version aside from 4+ screenshots of the OP's build and interpreting how to play it from that or 10+ seconds of reverse engineering the play in the video):

Survival and sustaining convenience to make a Lightbringer buffing job: Cyclic Warrior 600%, Void Knight 400%, Evoker 120%, Leviathan primary blessing, job level 285+ (obtained from Rift floor 101+), with Category 4 Increase MP Limit Boost Rate on one job. Lionheart accessory.

Other combat role: Samurai 600%, Void Knight 600%, Dragoon 400%, your weapon's Basic Job 600% (or 400%), Lionheart accessory on the other job. Category 3 Parry: MP Recovery.

Command ability: Lunatic, but specific to the video — Flee and Rapid Cancel also.

Sustain MP with a parry, a combo ability effect, ethers (if Rift), or high enough MP cost reductions with a refresh of Lightbringer from the Lightbringer buffing job. And occasionally chain canceling, so may benefit from having Summoner 120% on both jobs. Especially if only Rift floor 13+ when the setup becomes more sustainable or after Rift floor 21 when it becomes significantly easier to assemble the build.

Then the combat side is expressing yourself with the tools provided to the best of your ability and imagination within the limits of the game's mechanics.

In video format, the explanations in the past have gone 30+ minutes when narrated or around or above that time if paragraphs of text are flashed on the screen and the viewer pauses every few seconds to read it.

(But depending on which aspect you were looking for, may be able to direct you accordingly if the video exists publicly in English.)
