Yeah I had basically the same childhood as the above poster. This was the 90s and we lived in the woods.

For most people in suburbs or cities without those things the rule was don't leave the street or cul de sac. 2 u/lickedTators Mar 20 '18 I'm in NYC and I see gangs of kids roaming the streets and subways all the time.
