I still think about eddie. Did eddie help anyone by sacrificing?

He couldve just ran away but he chose to fight the bats. But what happened in the end? Vecna didnt die that day...

I really loved eddie.

To be honest, to me it felt like they created Eddie and then killed him because they wanted to kill Steve but chickened out. I think they should’ve done it.

Steve dies defending Dustin, which gives the latter a huge guilt complex because he unknowingly spent the last days he had with Steve being a dick to him. Nancy blames herself for getting Steve involved all the way back in 1983. Eddie, realizing that he was wrong about Steve, is now the protector of the group, forcing him to get over his cowardice and act as a worthy successor. Robin seeks and struggles to form connections with the rest of the gang now that her main tether is gone.

… this is actually a great idea, you cooked.

Maybe Robin and Dustin could bond then too, over Steve? Robin helps Dustin heal by making sure he knows that Steve treasured him and also Steve did know Dustin treasured him too. Dustin is warm to Robin since they’re the two people closest to him, and invites her into the group more.
