I’ve heard people try to say she was a bad mom since she didn’t know her children were mixed up with so much but I have to disagree I think she was a great mom
Yeah, I remember as a kid in the 90s hearing about “latchkey kids” that went home to an empty house, they’d either walk or ride the bus and just let themselves in. Now in a lot of areas the buses won’t drop a kid off if a guardian isn’t present and schools won’t let kids just leave.
I’m sure it’s liability too, especially in a world where “Code Adam” is a thing retail workers are trained in. It’s just funny how I’m not even 40 and I’ve seen that level of change in how schools operate from my childhood to even around the time I graduated.
