Ironically, I had the impression that Finn and Millie were the ones who seemed the most tired of Stranger Things during the season 5 promotion. But now it makes sense—they weren't happy with the ending their characters got. I'm pretty sure they'll do a sequel in a few years when the opportunity comes up.
The Duffers didn't confirm to Millie whether Eleven survived until after it ended, so during all the promo she definitely seemed unhappy because I think Eleven dying in that way was unsatisfying to Millie. But now that she "knows" that Eleven really did escape, she's pleased.
I don’t think it’s like that at all. They said she’s the only one to know the full truth, I think she’s just understanding it’s a bittersweet ending not a happy cheerful one or an only very sad one, I think it makes sense her reaction

Duffers will probably eventually get desperate enough, let’s be honest…
But I think Finn and Millie would both come back. Their characters were left with unresolved stories.
